Hi everyone. I recently sold my tickets on Viagogo because my schedule changed. Since I am using a major platform, I am not too worried about getting paid, but I encountered something a bit strange during the transfer process.
The buyer email addresses provided by Viagogo look very suspicious. They are from domains like simplesignalservice.com and smartmosaictrades.com. I tried searching for these domains online, but absolutely nothing comes up. Viagogo claims these are verified emails, but it still feels weird.
What is even stranger is that right after I transferred the tickets via the FIFA portal and went back to Viagogo to click "Confirm Transfer," the status had already changed to "Transfer Complete" automatically. It happened in just a few seconds.
I am wondering if these are temporary email addresses created by Viagogo to protect user privacy. Or perhaps these are professional resellers using bots to buy and "Accept" tickets instantly?
I don't think Viagogo would scan me out of my money, but the whole experience feels a bit sketchy. Has anyone else dealt with these specific domains or had their transfer status complete itself instantly?
