After watching AKOTSK, I really wanted to watch more jousting. I watched "A knight's Tale" and "Ivanhoe" but there's only so much jousting media available. I also wanted something that touched more on the actual techniques and mechanics of jousting, like the AKOTSK book.
And then I found Full Metal Jousting...
It aired on the history channel like 14 years ago. It's basically a bunch of rednecks and history nerds recreating jousting tournaments. Full contact, armored jousting, exactly what I was looking for.
There are some episodes free on youtube and it's streaming on Prime. I'd highly recommend checking it out! I've linked the fourth episode of season 1.
