So, what happened was, I must've accidentally selected multiple files (including a whole folder of them) instead of just the one I meant to and dragged them into the timeline. I pressed Ctrl + Z afterwards, and that seems to have entirely deleted every one of those files from my computer.

They're not where they were in my videos folder, they don't show up when I search them from the home tab of File Explorer (including when I turn on the option of showing hidden files and folders), and they're not in the Recycle Bin.

If anyone knows why this might've happened, please let me know. There were some important video files in there, so I'd be absolutely heartbroken if they were all just gone forever now
