Excluding animation and voice acting.

I often hear about how anime is worse than the novel or manga because they change so many things. One of which is Loner Life Isekai where each adaptation always get worse than the novel. Or the Spice Wolf that remove an arc that will relevant later.

But is there an anime that change things for the better? Whether it's for better pacing or retcon something. Something like Choso's hair flip scene but not just a single scene.
