I am looking to shoot pucks this summer. Because my shooting area is sloped, I want to make an elevated shooting pad to make sure I'm shooting level with the net.

I am thinking of having a portion of the shooting pad to stand on (plywood) and perhaps the other portion to have synthetic tiles.

I am 5' 11".

1. What do you think the minimum size of the entire shooting pad should be?

2. What size should the synthetic tile surface be?

3. Any recommendation on synthetic tile brands? (In Canada)

Note: The elevated pad would probably be less than 6 inches, so it wouldn't be terrible if I fell off during follow through. Due to my setup, I'll have to move my pad often, that's why I'm looking for a comfortable minimum size for the pad.
