I am in the process of creating a CVAD VDA farm based on server 2025 and a golden image hosted by PVS.
We have the same concept running currently in prod, based on server 2019.
I am nearly done, yet running into an absurd issue. We are using custom login background for both login and lockscreen for branding purposes.
When connecting to the vda through the workspace app, the background pre login is zoomed in and cropped, looking ugly and pixelated. Same background after login on the lock screen is fine.
- if i connect through RDP the issue isnt there
- the issue happens mainly on screens with resolution larger then 1920x1080, widescreen curved are the worst
- tried changing dpi settings on the client
- tried enable / disable dpi support
- tried various resolution sizes of backgrounds
2019 did not have this issue. We are on 2507 LTSR.
Id be grateful if anyone has any input!
