Hey everyone,

I’ve just signed up for the Israman Half (Eilat, Israel) and I’m starting to build my training plan. I’m choosing to go the self-coached route rather than hiring a coach, but I’d really appreciate learning from those of you who’ve already done it.

If anyone here has a structured training plan they’ve used (especially for a half Ironman distance) and is willing to share, I’d love to take a look and use it as a reference while building my own.

A bit about me:

- Swimming: weakest discipline, still building technique and endurance

- Cycling: some experience, mostly off-road (MTB), less structured road training

- Running: strongest area – comfortable with half marathon distances

If you’ve done Israman specifically, even better – I’d love any tips about the course, conditions, or how you adjusted your training.

Also happy to hear general advice on balancing the three disciplines, especially improving swim while maintaining run strength.

Thanks in advance 🙏
