I recently bought an Adidas Metalbone Carbon CTRL 2024 padel racket from Vinted and I’m trying to figure out whether it’s genuine or possibly fake.
The racket weighs around 359 g on my scale, but it has a protector on it, so the racket itself is probably a bit lighter.
I also know this model does not have the adjustable weight screws, unlike the regular Metalbone CTRL 3.3, so that part seems normal.
The thing that worries me is that I can’t find any serial number anywhere on the racket. I’ve checked the frame, throat, handle, and butt cap, but I don’t see one.
I’ve attached some photos. Does anything look off to you? Is it normal for this model not to have an obvious serial number, or should that be a red flag? Are there any other specific details I should check?
Would really appreciate opinions from anyone who owns this model or has experience with Adidas padel rackets. Thanks!
