Hey everyone,

I’ve been testing different ways to improve TikTok live engagement and actually make people stay longer (instead of joining and leaving after a few seconds).

One thing I noticed early:

most lives are passive.

So I built a simple system to make my lives more interactive.

Now viewers can:

– request songs directly from the chat

– skip forward/back or control playback with commands (like “next”)

– trigger actions in real time

– join structured multi-guest lives (without chaos)

– even play simple interactive games through chat (like Battleships)

– and I can match visuals/animations to the music vibe

The whole setup runs on a web interface hosted on a virtual server, which I connect to TikTok Studio as a browser source — so everything reacts live to chat.

After using this, I noticed:

– much higher watch time

– way more chat activity

– people staying to hear their song requests

– better engagement during multi-guest sessions

It feels more like an interactive experience than just a live stream.

Curious if anyone else is experimenting with chat-driven or interactive lives?

If there’s interest, I can break down how it works.
