I have a conditional offer from U of T Mississauga for Social Sciences, and the wording says I need to “maintain my current academic standing.”
My predicted grades are 3As in maths, physics and economics.
The university told me there isn’t a fixed grade cutoff. They said they mainly want to see that grades don’t sharply decline, and that rescinding offers is rare.
I’m trying to understand what this means in practice.
For people who’ve had similar U of T conditional offers, how much of a drop is usually still fine?
If my final grades end up being BBB, would that usually still be safe?
What about something like ABB or even one C, for example ABC or BBC?
I know nobody here can guarantee anything. I’m just trying to get a realistic sense of what kind of results past applicants got and still kept their offer.
