New Laptop

  • Total budget (in local currency) and country of purchase. Please do not use USD unless purchasing in the US: If i dont get a scholarship, 300 euros, if i get a scholarships, 1000 euros
  • Are you open to refurbs/used? I'm open, but only trusted sites
  • How would you prioritize form factor (ultrabook, 2-in-1, etc.), build quality, performance, and battery life? I wouldn't have a priority over form factor, but the build quality should be great, performance should be really great and battery life doesn't have to be that great compared to others, as i can constantly plug it in
  • How important is weight and thinness to you? Not important at all
  • Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A. -N/A
  • Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run. I'm mainly focused on tech with virtual machines, but i'm also interested in video editing and art
  • If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want? If i had to game, it would be basic games like modless minecraft, roblox and other basic games, 45 fps in games would be enough for me, but 60 would be perfect. I already have a personal computer for gaming
  • Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)? The specific requirements is it being perfectly good for tech class and having a spanish querty keyboard
  • Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion. Overall what i'm looking is for a laptop that can run many virtual machines at the same time without crashing, as i'm in tech school and i need a good laptop for that work, i usually don't care about aesthetics or brand (but if it could be lenovo thinkpad, i'd be glad, as i'm interested in those laptop's designs). Last but not least, spanish querty keyboard is absolutely required
