The "Refund for Silence" : How Businesses Steal Honest Reviews

>I’m sharing this not just as a personal grievance, but as a warning about a dangerous trend in our industry: Review Extortion.

We’ve all seen the pattern. I purchased a managed challenge service from a Prop Firm provider, but they failed to deliver. In my case, they used prohibited EAs to pass the challenge, which eventually led to a breached contract and a service that wasn't as promised. But the real problem started when I tried to get my money back.

in my recent experience with Odisea Trading, they have taken reputation management to an unethical level. After formally acknowledging that I am legally owed a total refund of $730 USD, they have held my funds hostage with one explicit condition:

"Delete your Reddit reviews first, or you don't get paid."

By forcing customers to delete honest, factual feedback before issuing a refund, they are essentially manufacturing a fake online reputation. They are using my own money as leverage to censor the truth and hide their business practices from the community.

A Note to Reddit Admins and Moderators:
Do not remove this post if it is reported by this company. My previous account was targeted with mass reports specifically to hide my experience and silence my voice. I possess full, timestamped documentation to prove every claim made here. This is a factual report of my personal experience, shared to protect other traders from similar tactics

Don't let them buy your silence. If we don't speak up, the next trader will fall for the same polished, fake-reviewed trap.

Stay Sharp, Stay Informed.
