So I posted about a week back asking about the viability of Soldier…

I got a lot of people telling me to play Emre instead, I took your advice and i’ve got to say i’ve had an absolute blast,

I’ve put a good amount of hours into him and i’ve been climbing well.

However naturally with this being a hero shooter I don’t want to full on one trick…

So what would you say are some of the most disadvantageous matchups for Emre and comps I should watch out for?

And who would you recommend learning to have in my roster alongside him for if he isn’t working?

I’d my main strengths are definitely my hitscan aim and positioning and i’m pretty terrible at melee heros if that has any impact on your answer.

TLDR: Who counters Emre and who counters his counters?

I’m not looking to push the absolute top ranks but would like to climb fairly high.

I’m just getting back into OW after a good 8 years out, I main punisher in Rivals and very easily sit around GM/ low Cele, hence when picking up OW again i very easily meshed with Soliders kit, and have been doing incredibly well in the lower ranks.

However I have zero to no understanding of the meta of OW and if there’s heros that become unplayable at the higher ranks…

Essentially I don’t want to waste a shed load of time perfecting his kit only to find out i’ll be essentially useless once i climb :)
