I built a free preparedness quiz and I want blunt feedback from people who actually prep
I’ve been building a free "How Prepared Are You?" quiz for regular households and I’d like honest feedback from people here who actually know the difference between feeling prepared and being prepared.
The idea is simple: most people can answer yes to a few basics and assume they’re covered, but they haven’t pressure-tested water, meds, comms, evacuation, or how long their supplies really last. The quiz tries to surface those blind spots and give a prioritized next-step report instead of just a generic list.
What I’m specifically looking for feedback on:
- What questions feel useful vs fluff
- What major preparedness gaps you think most quizzes miss
- Whether the scoring feels too generous or too harsh
- What would make this more helpful for a normal household, not just hobbyists
I’m not trying to sell anything in this post. I’m trying to make the tool less dumb before I push it further, and this sub seemed like the right place to get real feedback instead of polite feedback.
If you try it, I’d be especially interested in whether it catches the issues you see over and over again with newer preppers.
I’m asking you honestly: are you interested in seeing this, evaluating it, and giving me honest feedback?
