Seizure or no?
Hi guys, about 4 days ago I woke up to what I thought was my dog having hiccups. We got up did our normal morning routine & she continued to have them on and off for about another hour. I recorded a video & headed straight to the vet. There they did some bloodwork/ urine test & sent us on our way suggesting she ate something toxic but to kind of wait and see. Once we got back home she had maybe one more episode & then none until this morning. We got the vet results back 2 days ago and everything was normal. I wake up this morning to her again having spasms. Called the vet and she suggested to watch her and bring her in if they progress & potentially be referred to a neurologist. Was wondering if those of you who have experienced epilepsy with your pets notice any similarities?? She is eating, drinking, pooping/peeing, and playing/acting very normal other than the spasms. Also she doesn’t seem to be in pain/bothered while they are happening & goes right back to normal after/while they occur.
Any ideas or advice? Thank you.
