Switching my major from Biomed to Public Health? Any adivce

Im an upcoming freshman going to USF because of its exceptional premed program, and I hope to take full advantage of it by securing research positions early on, and getting EMT certified to become an EMR on campus. One of my biggest goals is to go to medical school at Georgetown University, so maintaining a high GPA and MCAT score is also very important. My current major is Biomedical Sciences, but I want ot minor in infection control. My only concern is how it would affect my GPA, knowing that BS. might be harder than a B.PH. But another thing is is thtat if I continue with biomedical sciences, it would also prepare me for the MCAT without me havgin to take stem elective courses. Any advice on what I should do? I would really appreciate it.
