(This is not Vs debating related but I think this is really important to share with everyone on DBM)

I got a dm from one of my friends and they asked if I can chat on discord. I said sure and they told me that they were scammed by an impersonator and that they accidentally reported me, they said I need to message someone on discord named “Jason Bigman” on discord.

My alarm bells started to ring, so looked, and sure enough there are multiple stories with discord account (numbers seem to change), and the scam seems to be to get your reddit information to hack your account. I did not give any info and then blocked the account.

So their account seems to have been hacked and I figured I need to spread the word, to make sure no one else gets hacked.
