Why is impermanence so important?
I guess it's because we're supposed to train our mind to cling less to positive feelings and thoughts, and resist negative ones less. Am I right here?
And if yes: What's your experience with that? Did meditation make you less "addicted" to the highs and more accepting of the lows? Also, how long or in what way did you have to meditate to achieve this?
Edit: Genuine thx for all the great answers! I guess I need a meditation teacher. Hopefully I can find good teachers where I live.
