Hi, I am currently in rural New Brunswick Canada. My options for ISP in my area are Rogers or Bell. I have been with Rogers for 4 yrs but they keep sneaking my bill up higher now that my "term" is up. This is how loyalty is treated in Canada. My last bill was $189 with taxes and fees in. They keep increasing it by a few dollars a month and im totally annoyed with it. Bell does the same nonsense after their promotional time line is up then start fleecing the customer.
Is Startlink a reliable alternative to conventional ISP's in Canada? I understand its great for super rural areas without other wired providers but I'm just tired of the attitude from Rogers when they call and I bring this up it turns into an argument. I'm done with them.
My current speed test shows 271mbps download speed. Not a tech guy but I think its good... any advice would be great!
