Hey everyone,
I just passed the CEH v13 exam and wanted to share a quick feedback for those preparing.
Overall, the exam is not extremely difficult if you understand the concepts instead of just memorizing dumps. There are a lot of questions around tools, attack techniques, and scenarios (network, web, cryptography, etc.).
Some tips from my experience:
Focus on understanding how attacks actually work (not just definitions)
Be comfortable with tools like Nmap, Metasploit, Wireshark
Read questions carefully — some are tricky
Practice helps a lot more than theory alone
About the AI version (v13): it feels a bit more scenario-based than older versions.
Honestly, CEH is not the most advanced cert in cybersecurity, but it’s still useful if you want to build credibility and get started in the field.
If you have questions, feel free to ask
