How to sustain sand?
Hi,
I am a semi-experienced player. I played intensively a few years ago, and dropped the game because I f*cked up too many things ^^.
Now I am back (spaced out with ppp dlc) and started a new colony where I want to "make things correct from the start". Now I am around cycle ~80ish and I successfully created one infinite water storage and one infinite p-water storage.
I have the output of 3 polluted water vents pumping into the p-water storage.
The pump inside the p-water storage is running through a sieve and pumping into the water storage, which is connected to a hydra.
I have some questions...
How can I see how much water is inside my Infinite Storage? I can enable "Water" on the overview on the right, but I feel the number is not quite correct. I am a bit paranoid that it will run out (Infinite storage is new for me, in my old colony I used to have big, big pools So i always could control and see my water level)
I noticed my sieve eats up a LOT of sand. I have plenty, but I am paranoid that it will run out one day and I can't transform my p-water into water anymore. I do not have a salt biome with pokeshells. I know I can crush Salt (I have some salt water geysers) to table salt and sand but that requires a constant dupe operation and I don't know the exact conversion numbers (if that is worth it).
