Hey everyone,
I’m attaching some photos of my face from the front, 3/4, and profile.
For some medical context, I suffer from sleep apnea with 27 events per hour (AHI 27). To treat this, I’m planning to have jaw surgery with an advancement of about 7-9 mm, along with CCW (counter-clockwise rotation).
I’m trying to get a better idea of what to expect aesthetically and was wondering if anyone here started from a similar baseline/situation to mine? If so, I’d love to hear about your experience or see your results.
Also, I was warned that with this amount of advancement and CCW, there's a risk of getting a "chimpanzee effect" (where the mouth/lower face protrudes too much). Has anyone else been told this by their surgeon? Did it actually happen, or did your features balance out well post-op?
Thanks in advance for any advice or shared experiences!
