Hi! I've been wanting to make my own GBA physical cart collection and have been doing some research... which obviously ended up in me finding out that the super cheap repro carts from AliExpress that most ppl use for this purpose of re-flashing are bound to fail and become E-waste... I've seen a lot of videos of ppl using the Mother 3 cart for reflashing. My conclusion is that the best option is the VERY EXPENSIVE InsideGadgets flash cart (which is sold out rn anyways). But come on they are 37$ + shipping... I can't afford that. Eventually I came across a cheaper option these ChisFlash carts on Alibaba: (the ones in the picture but here's the link aswell) https://spanish.alibaba.com/product-detail/Cartucho-de-Juego-de-Alta-Calidad-1601707975048.html
I know nothing about components and that sort of thing so I would love to know if these are a good option for flashing ROMs onto them, I'm mainly concerned about them withstanding the test of time. And being able to save the games properly and not corrupt. Has anyone tried these? I found a couple of reviews saying they're one of the best bootleg out there, so I was hoping to confirm this...
Also do you think there's any difference between the black and green one or is it just aesthetic?
They come both with and without RTC, I'm more interested in non-pokemon games so I will be buying the non-RTC one
