Was there an advantage being graduate at mechanical engineering, when pursuing digital marketing?

And if yes, at what, and what industry should I consider?

I have also been researching psychology and human behavior for years for why people do the way they do, and also graduated from mechanical engineering in college,

Now that my interest are shifting to marketing, I wonder if I can use my degree somehow since I also put a lot of hard work into graduating for years in college... And I want to venture into freelancing later on
