So I always though my old router (Telstra) was bad, so i decided to replace it. I chose to go with the flint 3 since linus tech tips made a video on it, and it was on sale, and it had decent reviews.
I ordered it, set it up, and made sure all settings were good and i had the latest firmware. Ever since I have been using it, the speeds have reached somewhat near 1gbps (around 400-500), and even if it does go near it (like 700, which is rare), it always goes back down.
Also, the range of the router seems to be extremely weak. Near the router, the speeds seem to be okay, but away from it, its pretty bad. I am using 5GHz as well. Also the latency and ping is extremely high as well, especially when gaming in other rooms.
I don't have any concrete walls but it is still pretty bad.
Any advice or help on what I can do, or should i just switch to my old router?
