My family is moving to a new house but we discovered that there has been mold in the basement and library. We don't want to have any chance of spores going to the new house so have decided to try and use a gas to get rid of them. The idea that has been brought forth so far is to get some sort of tent (maybe a greenhouse that we cover in tarps) and use chlorine dioxide to clean a ton of stuff at a time during the move. I was hoping to get advice on if this is a horrible idea or if there is a better way to go about this.

There is no visible mold on object such as book, they are just located in a room that has had bad mold.
