First try quadruple

First try quadruple

I passed the SIE, 6,63, and 65 on the first try without being in the industry before.

There’s so many things I could say about how to study and what to perfect and what to look out for the 65 exam. This is imo what works best..

*master suitability, reg BI, and fiduciary duties.
* Investment purpose and proper stock selection. - know the different types of stock classes, their functions, and when to recommend them.

*TAX TAX TAX- corp, fed, state, retirement plans/withdrawals

*if you’re taking the 65 you should’ve taken the 6 and 63 before. So you should be very familiar with management companies: mutual funds/ open ended vs closed and how they function.

*know different types of trusts types and their functions pre and post death, estate creation etc. and their tax implications.

*Expect at most five questions about math

*TEY AND ATY and how to calculate based on corporate/muni bonds

*CAPM the best way to memorize the formula for me, was asking ChatGPT for similar scenarios of training courses you’re taking

KNOW BONDS BACK AND FORTH
- i saw ONE current yield question but the idea of bonds is necessary because some questions require overall bond knowledge and how interest works around them.

-bond sea-saw

*Economic cycles and what stock picks type work with what cycle.

MPT and EMT

-difference between fundamental and technical.
Wouldn’t worry too much about spreadsheets but overall know short term vs long term assets/liabilities. Which pair with acid test and sharpe ratio.

Strategic vs Tactical analysis

Know how technical analysis works
-floor, ceiling, trading channel, etc.

I don’t want to put too much more. If it’s confusing for me, it’s probably confusing for you.
Everyone’s journey is different. As well as their study style.

BUT, study based on the highest percentage sections. You can miss 38 and still pass!
