When they sting, it hurts.
people can develop an allergy at any point in their lives
to add onto the above point, anaphylactic shock would REALLY suck to experience. It's life threatening and a rapid symptom.
It's startling to have something suddenly fly into your immediate peripheral view, especially when you realize the above
supposedly, bees only sting when THEY feel threatened. However, yellow jackets also exist, they're gonna be assholes, and sometimes it's hard to tell what's flying at you unless it's a super big bumblebee
I got a lot of shit when I was a kid for being terrified of bees and wasps, and I was terrified for the above stated reasons. Never learned how to just deal with it like everyone else, I suppose it's just hard for me to shake off the above points. It's always in the back of my mind. But the thing I don't get is, mfers are out here being terrified of mirrors, or having trypophobia, and judging me for my fear! My thing has a potential to be life threatening! If those people weren't so hypocritical, I wouldn't be making this post!
Edit: hey peeps, either way this post becomes win win for me. If you think my post is stupid, you're basically agreeing with my point which is different from my lived experience. Thank you for making me feel justified.
