Have you find mistakes of translators in the books that were translated into Japanese? Or mb there are two different translations of a book and you strongly prefer one version? Have you been disagreed with movie title? Well, I kinda don't like that movie Martian was translated into オデッセイ because it doesn't have much similar both with Homer's Odyssey and Kubrick's movie. It's almost Robinson Crusoe, but on other planet though.

For example: would a Japanese not living in Gifu recognize Iwana bōzu?

Is yōkai shirime 尻目 based on normal word 目尻? Do you know more such puns with swapping 2 kanji or they are not popular at all?
