First quote for fitting internal doors with is supplying the handles. It’s more than we expected but no idea if it’s reasonable?

We will eventually have a granite worktop installed. I know I should screw this island to the floor to secure it and support the weight but I’m dreading screwing through the tiles. The island will have an overhang for seating. We still haven’t decided how deep it’s going to be, 600-900mm of cupboards plus the overhang. Could I build a frame to support the weight and screw an 18mm sheet of ply across the back and to the chimney breast to stop any movement?
