Hi,

We have this small patch of ground that is very dry and shallow. Gets sun all morning but nothing after midday. Nothing of note is growing there currently. It is very hard and compacted. Is there anything I could sow that would survive? I don't really want to add soil/compost as I think it would just run off when it rains.
