So far it has stumped the service department. I was expecting a few hours to a day in the shop and finally called in.

Did you know that some sensors use a VHF transmitter to talk to the controller? I did not and find it very odd that the sensors are not hardwired. It was the radio unit part of the sensor that was having difficulties and the new part that Acura installed was bricked as well.

Now my car (A-spec AWD) will be at the dealers at least until Monday after work. I will report back when I find out how expensive the part is. This is the second failed component on this particular vehicle, the first being a failed tear view camera.
