I am getting married after few months. As we were doing wedding preparations and budgeting, there came one dilemma.

Should we host party in Star Hotel or Banquets?

The base package of star hotels (3000ish per plate) and premium package of banquets (2900-3200ish per plate) which are roughly the same. Opting for premium package of Hotels (around 5000) will really stretch our budget.

So what do you suggest, as a guest would you prefer basic food with premium venue OR wide food varieties with basic venue? If you have experience regarding this please suggest choosing alcoholic beverages like choosing Imported or domestic whiskey?
