Hey guys, I’ve been riding for about a year now (first an MT-07 and now an Aprilia RS660) and I’ve got a pretty annoying issue.

When I need to upshift, I notice that my knee near the tank kind of gets in the way / slows down / interferes with my foot movement getting under the shifter to go up a gear. This mostly happens at higher speeds, where I tend to grip the tank a bit tighter, or on rough roads.

I’ve noticed that if I sit further back on the seat I feel a lot better — basically my butt ends up touching (not hitting or fully resting on) the step in the seat (the one between the rider seat and the passenger seat).

My question is: is it actually correct to sit that far back? Am I too far back on the seat? Or should I be sitting more forward and adjust how I position my foot for shifting?

I had this issue slightly on the MT-07, but it’s much more noticeable on the RS660.

I’m 1.76m tall and weigh around 76/77kg.

Thanks in advance everyone!

Hi guys, I just noticed these small cuts on a right fairing sticker, there are no cuts or sketches and I have no idea how this could have happened, maybe a small stone? Do you have any ideas?
