I am planning to apply a FMWP before my PGWP (open work permit) expires this month.
I got my TCF results - CLB 8 in both (speaking and listening) and my employer has posted a posting for me under c16
After looking at all the negativity on the internet I am considering going to an immigration consultant/lawyer, do you all think that's a good step?

- What did you guys select on section 3 of IMM5710 ? I am applying for one or more of the following:
- * Apply for a work permit with the same employer
- * Apply for a work permit for the first time or with a new employer
My job doesn't require any French and while posting on the employer portal my employer did not mention French anywhere. Is that a problem?
If the applicant is in Canada, does he/she require an invitation letter?
What did you all mention in your client info letter?
