Is anyone else still locked out and unable to see their projects or payments page on HAI?
It seems like they’ve carried out a wave of wrongful terminations, but now they are actively withholding pay for work already completed. When I reached out to support to address the unpaid wages, I got the exact same canned response as many others:
"This decision is final, and there is no appeal process."
It’s one thing to end a contract, but it’s another thing entirely to keep money for hours we already put in. Since they’ve explicitly stated there is no internal appeal process left, I’m looking into legal options and potentially filing a claim in Small Claims court.
Is anyone else planning to sue or file a wage claim with the Department of Labor? If you’re in the same situation, let’s coordinate or share what steps you’re taking. They can't just keep our earned wages and tell us there’s "no appeal.
