Any HR/Payroll specialist or informed employee:
I started 2/14/2025 my first full paycheck was $3937.00 gross (range A new to the State).
I then became bilingual certified and “receive” a $200/mo (gross) extra on paycheck. (Took a few months to reflect on check and was back paid).
I was told that after my year probation period I’d receive a merit increase and also move up to range B (range is $4390-$5495).
My current gross pay is $4330.26; below range B. Our office attendance rep said we must reduce 3% for PLP; therefore lowest end of range B will be $4258.30 if you take into account the 3% reduction for PLP 2025.
Shouldn’t my pay be higher than this? Based on my bilingual, MSA, and moving up to range B?
Thanks in advance for your input.
