hello everyone.
My 7 years old poodle has been diagnosed with a malignant sarcoma that is placed just behind his neck. I’ve found about it in january and it was very little. We’ve been sent to some vets and they all told me that i should get an xray exam done to him, so i did it.
We’ve been informed that is a sarcoma but the biopsy outcome have yet to arrive.
Yesterdat, while talking with my vet she told me that there are two main paths. the first one would mean to do nothing and just let it be, which means that he could live until september.
The second one would be going through surgeries and possibly electrotherapy/chemio cycles, but she also told me that since the sarcome is kinda wide, during the surgery and after they will put him a plastic support inside his neck and the scar will be wide and bulky.
So my question is, since the dog is very joyful and playful, having a scar this big will be a problem for it? and also will he suffer during the cycles after surgery. Also there is a 30% possibility that after the surgery the sarcoma will
be back.
