Hey I am currently jee aspirant and my final aim is to land a quant job in india (jane street, citadel are very much competitive even in the iit bombay and Delhi)
My aim is to land a job into graviton or quadeye as a quant researcher (the one who generates the alpha for the company)
In this context which branch/IITs are the best?
Moreover what if I have a choice of tier 2 iit with Mathematics and computing or ai and data science and IIT Bombay metallurgy.
Which should I choose?
In short my question is the OG branch vs college debate.
I guess quant requires both branch and college but both is not possible to be the best.
Thank you
