Have Chips DCS

Welcome to Have Chips DCS

Have Chips is a Dynamic PvPvE campaign based loosely off of the Shadow Reapers DCS Server. It features an ever changing battlefield, with Airbases and FARPS changing hands as the battle progresses. Each Airbase and FARP has a health bar. Destroying enemy structures and vehicles within the area will reduce the HP until it becomes neutral at which point friendly forces can move in a take over. Killing enemy aircraft within the vicinity of an Airbase or FARP will also reduce its health bar.

Complete missions to collect XP and tokens which can be exchanged for dropping smoke on targets or hire an escort to accompany you through hostile territory to your next destination, protecting you as you complete your task*.

Have Chips implements a custom splash script to make missiles and bombs feel more realistic while retaining functionality. Napalm has also been introduced for those who enjoy the feeling of raining fire down upon their targets.

Have Chips also supports mods! Each server has mod support and is always working on adding more. Both servers limit mods to the basic DCS weaponry. This is to prevent making mods a must have to fly on the server. By limiting them to only the native DCS mods, the server can be flown out without having the mods installed. This is done to create an open experience for anyone who wants to fly.

Currently Have Chips 1989 only supports the UH-60 Blackhawk, however the MiG-23 and A-4 are being tested to make sure they function properly and are balanced properly.

Have Chips 2014 currently supports the UH-60 and the SU-30/35. The SU-22 is being tested as well as the MiG-23 and A-4 to make sure they function properly and are properly balanced.

New Mods can be suggested on discord, they will be properly vetted and tested to make sure that they are not broken within the server enviorment and work with the DCS native weaponry.

Each Airbases and FARP has a limited number of weapons. The closer to the front line you spawn, the fewer options you have but the closer to the action you will be. If you need the maximum firepower possible, spawn further back for a wider range of choices. But be aware that you will need to balance your armament for fuel because you will be further from the action.

For those who enjoy support and logistics, the C130 can be used resupply friendly bases with better munitions or to restock pallets of equipment if a base is running low on HP**.

Have Chips also features music radio stations on dedicated SRS radio frequencies. be sure to pay attention to each pop up in the top right to see what is playing!

Have Chips also offers Tacview! via https://tacview.havchips.net pilots can download their TV files to analyze their flight.

https://havechips.net offers a live status of both servers as well as the mission briefing and some useful links and guides created by others in the community.

Be sure to join the Have Chips Discord to stay up to date on weekly events and updates***.
