Hi ! I’m a French citizen. I’ve been in Canada for two years, specifically Montreal, QC now with a working holiday permit which expired two months ago. I will go back to France at the end of May 2026 (I’m on visitor visa right now) but I’d like to apply for the Francophone Mobility program because my gf is staying in Montréal as her employer wants to keep her. I want to stay close to her so my best shot - as Québec rules have become so stringent - is to find a job in Ontario or Ottawa, in a city not too far from Montreal so I can visit her on WE and holidays. I have experience in Montreal as a Sort Supervisor, TEER 2, CNP 12013 for a year(waiting on my job to provide me with a valid hiring letter so I can apply for PR)
What’s my best shot to be hired via Francophone mobility program? How do I go about applying to said jobs, convincing employers to go through the necessary paperwork ? I would really appreciate any help with my situation. Thank you for your time
PS: I’m open to go farther away if I can’t find anything not too far from Montreal and visit my gf every few months
