My girlfriend is looking at 2023 x3. It has that interior wood trim around the radio/screen and along the driver and passenger door. She hates it but loves everything else. I’m not familiar with bmws but I know it’s not as simple as a pry tool and replacing. What are my options? vinyl over lay? Get them
Wrapped etc? She wants them black.
I have a 2016 Pro that has the sliding rear cargo tray initially I thought it was cool but it hinders some height in the back and makes it a bit more of a jump for my dog to get in not to mention he slides around even with a trunk liner because nothing grips it. I want to remove the whole assembly which I’ve seen on YouTube, won’t take long, I’m aware it will be just exposed metal after. Next question for anyone who’s removed is , what do I need to do and buy to just have a normal cargo space again? Looking online looks like it’s foam and then the oem carpet? Can I just spray foam/ insulate the metal then slap a rubber cargo mat over the whole thing? Anyone whose done this I’d appreciate some insight, not looking to modify for overlanding or a fridge just want a solution to the bare metal and what to do next. Another option is posting on marketplace and seeing if someone will just swap all of their stuff but also might want to just sell outright the whole assembly and say good luck.
