Positive outcome
TW: Light bleeding
Hey everyone! When I woke up this morning (8w0d) there was some bright red blood after I wiped. I immediately messaged my dr even though the office didn’t open for over an hour. She responded 15 minutes later saying she had an opening for an appointment at 11, would send me for bloodwork and an ultrasound if I wanted. I’ve had 3 prior losses and she knows my anxiety this time is through the room. I said yes, obviously, went for ultrasound and the tech showed me the heartbeat first thing and then said she was going to look around and take her required pictures. Blood work all came back perfect and reassuring and my dr asked if I just wanted to count this as my next appointment or still wanted to come in next week and I asked if she would think I was crazy if I kept the next week appointment and she just laughed and said not at all.
All that to say - things do work out, and make sure you find a doctor who believes you and supports you because this has made a world of a difference compared to my prior experiences
