Ok let’s be a devil’s advocate:

Not many characters can stop, clinch and than knockdown Julius in 3 moves, in base form.
Gilbert took damage from a surprise finisher that Agito was avoiding but he is still ok to continue fighting (still in base form).
Even after Julius ate those shots, Gilbert wasn’t scared/surprised rather called Julius a “plebian” (or wathever).

Meaning Gilbert wasn’t going all in as you would react differently if someone ate your most powerful beatdown and called you a weak kid 😂

Anyway yeah it’s hard to make Gilbert a serious treath when we got Shen.

Still I hope based on what we have seen, Sandro plan’s on Eddy’s “soul” to take over at one point…
