I’m learning Android development with Kotlin and recently finished my first app (a simple tip calculator). I’m trying to figure out how to turn my skills into income as quickly as possible.

Right now I’m focusing on:
• building small utility apps
• taking on tiny bug‑fix tasks
• improving my Kotlin fundamentals

If anyone here has experience making money early in their dev journey, I’d appreciate any advice on:
• what types of simple apps actually earn
• how to get small paid tasks as a beginner
• what skills I should focus on next

Any guidance from people who’ve been here before would help a lot.

I build simple Kotlin apps (calculators, forms, utilities) and can fix bugs, layout issues, crashes, or Gradle problems. Fast turnaround. Affordable rates. DM me what you need done.

For small tasks I usually charge $20–$40 depending on the work. For simple apps, $50–$100.
