My mother recently passed (lived well into her mid 90's and had a great life overall) and my sibling and I are winding up the Estate as Co-Executors. We get along and there are zero issues about material things or finances. We are merely going through the steps and there are 2 old vehicles, neither have been driven for years, but 1 actually starts. We have offers and will sell them for $500 for 1 and $2000 for the other.

How do we navigate the process of disposing of them?

• She lives in GA, and I am in California.
• After reading through the GA Dept of Revenue documents, me being out of state may complicate things. Maybe I give up any claimed to them?
• Nothing is owned on either vehicle and tags are up to date on one for sure, but not the 2nd one.

Any experience or direct knowledge would be great to draw from on this scenario?
