Hi everyone, I just want to ask for advice or experiences regarding a possible scam.
I recently bought shoes from an online page named “FORBS.” Before paying, I checked their page and it looked legitimate since there were past transactions and activity.
On April 30, 2026, I transferred ₱6,115 via InstaPay from my MariBank account to a Maya account (name shown: FORBS). After payment, the seller stopped replying to me despite multiple follow-ups asking for updates and tracking number.
Later, I searched online and found multiple posts from other people saying they were scammed by the same page.
What I’ve done so far:
Reported to MariBank
Emailed complaint with BSP
Collected all evidence (receipt, chats, QR code, scam posts)
My question is: Is there still a chance to recover my money? Has anyone here successfully recovered funds from an InstaPay scam?
I reported it within a few days, so I’m hoping there’s still a chance if the account can be fro
Any advice or similar experiences would really help. Thank you.
