my monroe just ripped through my lip
i got it pierced on may 1st so it hasn’t been downsized. the jewelry is a flat back with a little stud. i’ve just been washing my face with a super gentle soap like normal, rinsing the piercing a couple times a day and removing crust with a qtip or soaking it off. it hasn’t really been wanting to heal great just pretty red around the piercing and the crust has been bordering on the line of pus crust instead of regular crust so not infected but not happy either and i’m not sure why. then a few minutes ago i was eating a breakfast sandwich and my teeth caught it so bad the jewelry pulled back into my lip and i had to push it back out the front. i’ve never had issues like this healing piercings before and i know that what just happened just set me further back in healing and im just terrified it’ll happen again and terrified it wont heal. im just wondering about other peoples experiences with a monroe and what i could do to help it? this also was lowkey terrifying i cried
