hi, as post reads, i was offered to go overseas internship to hokkaido, hakodate for 6 months starting in august of 2026 to february 2027. What ill be doing is research with a professor from Future uni hakodate. My course is communications motion design but its highly likely my research might not be related to that, but im open to learning new things.

PROS ( imo )

6 months in mountain. winter. live alone / with buddy. learn how to regulate self alone without mama or papa. learn smth new. basically ill be a monk in practice lah.

CONS ( imo )

i miss out on an actual internship, and actual fyp -- i dont mind this too much since im working a job at a fun place remotely right now as a social media manager, and i thought itd be fun to record some of those moments as content in japan. and idk, i guess i trust myself alot.

maybe another con is earthquake and tsunami warning... i personally think its a rng thing so.. idk.

another con is i may miss my undertale concert i booked tickets for, but i plan to save up $1.5k to fly back to sg and back to hokkaido for this so i wont miss out on the concert. Its important since its with my boyfriend, and i dont want to miss out on it.

FINANCIAL SITUATION -- seems to be fine at the moment, my parents are able to fund this trip, and on top of that the school is funding me $7.2k to stay and live there. its partly my pay and also my allowance to cover utility bills, housing and food.

Why do i want to go???

because im turning 19 this year, and i always had the aspiration to do something like this. Spontaneous as it is, but im willing to take the risk to learn something new. Ive been dissuaded by some of peers as they say its 'not worth it' but i just wanna take one for the team.

if you need any details, ill reply asap. But id love some insight and advice on this and if you did something similar. I have to make a decision soon. Thanks again!

I run a small shop on telegram where I host auctions for items. Normally, i create a post / 'listing' and people will bid under the comments section. I would have to manage each listing manually, checking on bids and the timing as all bidders have to abide to a 5 minute airtime before they win.

Sometimes, people delete their bids, which i would ban them for, but i find it unnecessarily tiring to check on that, and to be present during the bidding session.

Im wondering if its possible to create a telegram bot for myself that allows me to create a listing by inputting photos, description and the minimum increase for a bid amount. And to have user data of bidders collected during bidding per listing, so that winning bidders may immediately know if they win, or can be notified that a bid is about to end and to also autoban bidders who delete their bids.

Basically automating everything that i currently do. Would that be feasible? or would that be too complicated for the telegram bot to handle? Thank you so much in advance. This would be my first time attempting to use the telegram bot maker.
