I’m Chinese and saw this today — thought some international fashion brands here might find it interesting

I’m a local Chinese guy and got this ad pushed to me today while browsing:

https://mp.weixin.qq.com/s/KjUasrB3pMrBcQKCtL8-Tg

It’s from Poizon (得物) — probably one of the biggest sneaker/streetwear/fashion marketplaces among Chinese Gen Z users right now.

I realized many people outside China probably don’t even know this ecosystem exists, so I thought I’d share it here.

The ad basically says they’re recruiting overseas brands and offering:

  • global direct shipping
  • lower barrier entry into China
  • no Chinese company/entity required
  • access to a huge young consumer base

What’s interesting is that China’s internet ecosystem is really fragmented compared to the West.

Outside China, people mostly think about:

  • Amazon
  • Shopify
  • StockX

But in China, apps like Poizon have their own entire culture/community around sneakers, fashion, collectibles, and trend consumption.

Anyway, not affiliated with them or anything — just thought some people here might genuinely find this interesting or useful.

Typical Chinese internet moment though:

They used an enterprise WeChat QR code as the main contact method, which I realized most overseas people probably can’t even use easily 😂

China’s internet ecosystem can be pretty confusing from the outside lol.

If anyone actually wants to explore it and gets stuck because of language/platform stuff, I can probably help explain some things.
